I lost the project files a while ago when my PC crashed. I retrieved them shortly after I got a new PC, but by then I lost motivation to continue working on it.

DISCLAIMER: THIS PROJECT HAS BARELY BEEN STARTED, SO KEEP YOUR EXPECTATIONS LOW

What is this game?
A 2D pixel-art platformer (very original, I know)

What does it already have?
You can double-jump and you can die by jumping into the void or spikes and that's about it.

What do I plan on doing with it?
I want to create a polished game with a playtime of about an hour or less. I also want to experiment with art, but most of all, I just want to finish it.

Why is it called "Project: Flight"?
I put "Project:" at the beginning, because it sounded kinda cool and I added "Flight", because I saw a dove fly by while I was trying to think of an appropriate title.

Changes in version 0.1.1:
- Added birds
They just fly away when you get too close and return when you die
- Platforms
This platformer game finally has platforms
- Added smoke/gas propulsion
Stand on top of a pipe and fly into the air
- Spikes look like spikes now
Now they won't be mistaken for grass anymore
And that's all!

I love how the momentum feels :)

Thanks!

Do you have any complaints/suggestions? It's really early in development, so I'm very open to ideas.

Actually I found a bug I think..? On the right of the map, when I try to double jump from the rightmost platform to the one higher up, it teleports me back the center as if I died. Other than that, not much to say since it's so early :)

EDIT: Nevermind I didn't notice those things were spikes! Thought they were grass.. Maybe make them a bit more obvious?

Two other people also complained about the spikes' readability. I've turned them into more traditional spikes, so they're much more readable now.
A new version with the new spikes will likely be up during this weekend.

Thanks for the feedback :D
